Active Folders Report: Use this report and see active folders by the size or number of files modified in the last so many days.
Only Files Report: This report shows you a different all-encompassing view of your files, all in one report, no hierarchy so that you can sort on various columns and see the largest file, etc.
Only Folders Report: Similar to Only Files but shows all the folders in a straight list, no herarchy.
Command line switches: These allow you to control operation of ShowSize from a batch file.
Skip symbolic links: Certain folders called Symbolic Links actually point to folders on other drives. Such folders can be skipped in order to avoid adding them in the total size calculations.
Auto Refresh: This allows you to leave a ShowSize window open to show the latest reports on a disk location. But the refresh stops as soon as you click on the window.
Export to CSV: You can export a report to CSV file for further analysis. Only the advanced users would import such CSV data into their own spreadsheets or databases for further analysis.
Owners Report: Use this report and find out how much space is occupied by the files belonging to an owner. This report also shows the files grouped by the Owner.
Saving reports for sharing with other users: This feature allows to save a ShowSize report by using the menu Tools--Save Report. Other users can view such a report by opening it with the menu Tools--View Report. A report can be viewed this way even on a system where that drive location is not present. The only difference is that you can not do any LIVE operations on the files or folders of a report being viewed. For example, you can not open those folders in explorer, start a command prompt on them, delete folders and files, etc.
Other than that, the report viewer is fully interactive, and all the report viewing features, printing options and filters work on the saved report.

Buy 5 user licenses (or more) for the best set of features: If you are a business or corporate user, I recommend that you buy a minimum of 5 user licenses to get the best set of features, including the Owners report. The 5-user edition also supports saving of reports for subsequent viewing on any systems, even those not connected to the original system or its disks. The report viewer is fully interactive, allowing you to apply the filters or sorts on the collected data and to see any of the 7 reports in a tabbed interface.
Please read an interesting article on our Blog that mentions the use of Owners report described above.
