Owners list helps you find out what file owners are taking the most disk space
For example, in the accompanying screenshot, you can see that the owner "Administrators" takes up the most disk space. This is OK and expected because most of the files on a new Windows 10 system are admin owned.
However, I see an empty owner and have expanded it in the list. What I find is interesting because files like pagefile.sys belong to this empty or hidden owner.
Use ShowSize and you will uncover lots of such interesting facts. Let's see what common features ShowSize provides for all its lists. Click here to proceed.
Features available on all the lists
Moving to a different list on the Tab does not cause a rescan. Already scanned data is used to fill up the list.
You can exclude certain known folders to save on scanning time. For example, you can exclude Windows system and program folders because you can't directly control space in these folders anyway.
Drill down by expanding a list.
Many useful operations are available on the selected items on the toolbar and the right-click menu as shown in the picture.
Display a pie chart on up to 32 largest items based on size or number of files in them.

ShowSize is heavy-duty software
Modern disk drives are huge, running into terabytes of disk space and millions of folders and files. DO NOT USE "Toy programs" to analyze disk space on such huge disks. ShowSize is designed for heavy use with its features like virtual lists with huge capacity and Exclude Folders to save time on scanning.
