How to save a directory listing to a file with ShowSize
ShowSize has a special feature by which you can save folder and file lists in special report files and view them later.
- You can save a ShowSize report by using the menu Tools--Save Report.
- Then you or another user can view such a report by opening it with the menu Tools--View Report.
The best thing is that such a saved report can be viewed this way even on a system where that drive location is not present!
ShowSize Analyze--a new program for analyzing reports saved by ShowSize
If you have been using the Report Saving and Viewing features in ShowSize, there is more good news. We have developed another Report Analysis program called "ShowSize Analyze." You can view ShowSize report files with this program and can perform advanced filtering, printing and export operations on them.
ShowSize Analyze uses a brand new interface and gives a glimpse of things to come in future ShowSize. It has so many new features that we have assigned another page to describe them.

Is your hard drive or cloud drive filling up fast? Do you wonder what is taking up all that disk space? ShowSize will help you find that information easily.
ShowSize displays 7 kinds of hierarchical and flat lists of files and folders that help you quickly find the most space consuming folders, files, file types and file owners.
For complete details on all the lists, please see the slides at the top of the Home page.
ShowSize is heavy-duty software
Modern disk drives are huge, running into terabytes of disk space and millions of folders and files. DO NOT USE "Toy programs" to analyze disk space on such huge disks. ShowSize is designed for heavy use with its features like virtual lists with huge capacity and Exclude Folders to save time on scanning.
New, runs on Windows Server machines, Windows 10, Windows 8.1, Windows 7
